Munich: Shaping Foreign Policy in Uncertain Times: Views from Washington and Berlin

February 16, 2020 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am EST

The ACG and Aspen Institute Germany will host a Breakfast Briefing with Peter Berkowitz, Director of Policy Planning for the U.S. Department of State, and Sebastian Groth, Director of Policy Planning at the German Federal Foreign Office.

On the periphery of the Munich Security Conference, we look forward to convening a small high-level group to discuss the foreign policy challenges facing Washington and Berlin. Participants will include representatives from politics, think tanks, and the corporate sector. After brief opening statements from our two guest speakers, there will be ample opportunity for a frank and open discussion. The Chatham House Rule applies.

It is not necessary to leave the security perimeter surrounding the Bayerischer Hof to reach the location for this event. It is just around the corner from the hotel’s main entrance.

Since the number of participants is limited, we kindly ask you to RSVP (acceptances only) to the Aspen Institute Germany at nowak@aspeninstitute.de. Please note that prior registration is required.
