Kaffeepause: What’s Abuzz in Berlin?

Jens Wiegmann has served as Foreign Editor of Die Welt / Welt am Sonntag since 2005. Prior to this, he was the Editor of Finances for Die Welt from 2002 to 2005. From 1997 to 2002, he served as Editor of the business section of the Berliner Morgenpost. From 1993 to 1996, he was the Foreign Correspondent for Springer in New York City. He studied Political Science and American Literature at the University of Hamburg and Tulane University in New Orleans. From 1991 to 1993, he attended the Axel Springer School of Journalism. In 2002, he undertook an American Council on Germany McCloy Fellowship in Journalism during which he researched trade relations between the United States and Germany.
