Alexander Radwan has been a member of the Bundestag since 2013, after serving in the Bavarian State Parliament from 2008 to 2013 and the European Parliament from 1999 to 2008. He sits on the Bundestag’s Committee on Foreign Affairs as well as the Subcommittee on the United Nations, International Organizations, and Civilian Crisis Prevention.
Mr. Radwan specializes in the intersection of international relations and finance policy. He studied aeronautical engineering at the Munich University of Applied Sciences, graduating with a degree in engineering. After that, he studied law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, passing the bar in 1995. He is a Member of the Board of Trustees for the University of Applied Sciences Rosenheim, and a Member of the Administrative Council of Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).
