The ACG is hosting a discussion on, “German Foreign and Security Policy After the Election” with Dominik Mutter, Security Policy Director of the Federal Foreign Office on February 25.
Dominik Mutter is the Security Policy Director of the Federal Foreign Office. In 2022 and 2023, he was lead coordinator and editor of the interagency team tasked with drafting Germany’s first National Security Strategy. Prior to assuming his current position in March 2022, he served as Security Policy Director at the Ministry of Defense and as Head of Division for Security Policy and bilateral relations at the Chancellery.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Modern History, American Studies, and Political Science from Freiburg University.
