The ACG will host a breakfast breaking with Steffen Kampeter, Director General and Member of the Presidental Board of the Confederation of German Employers’ Association (BDA) in conversation with Peter Rough, Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute.Â

Steffen Kampeter is CEO of the Confederation of German Employers’ Associations (BDA). Previously, he served as State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Finance and was also a member of the German Bundestag from 1990 to 2016. An economist by training, he was the majority leader in the Budget, Appropriations, and Ways and Means Committee and chaired the working group on budget policy of the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group. In his Westphalian constituency Minden-Lübbecke, Mr. Kampeter serves as Chairman of the local CDU.
