The ACG, 1014, and the Heinrich-Boell-Stiftung will host a discussion and reception with Ricarda Lang Co-Chair of Alliance 90/The Green Party and Member of the Bundestag.
Ricarda Lang became Co-Chair of the German Green Party (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen) in February 2022. In September 2021, she was elected as a Member of the German Bundestag, where she sits on the Committee for Family Policy and is Vice-Chair of the Committee for Labor and Social Policy.
Ms. Lang joined the youth wing of the Green Party at 18. From 2015 to 2017, she served as Member of the Board and from 2017 to 2019 as Speaker of the Board of the Green Youth. She co-led the successful campaign for the European Parliamentary elections for the German Green Party in 2019 and went on to serve as Vice-Chair and Speaker for Women’s Policy of the Party.
At 29, Ms. Lang is the youngest chair in the German Green Party’s history.
