Jan Kallmorgen is the Founder and CEO of Berlin Global Advisors, combining a background in international policy and finance to advise clients worldwide on political risk and government relations. He is also a Partner at Interel Group, a global public affairs firm based in Brussels. Mr. Kallmorgen worked as a business consultant and the World Bank before he joined Goldman Sachs in 2000 in New York, London, and Frankfurt. In 2003, he moved to Berlin, where he launched the think tank Atlantic Initiative, which is dedicated to strengthening European-American relations among a new generation of leaders. He then joined the German Council on Foreign Relations, where he headed the transatlantic program. Concurrently, Mr. Kallmorgen was appointed Managing Director of the European Group for Investor Protection. In 2008, he launched his own public affairs firm, Bohnen Kallmorgen & Partner (BKP). From there he was recruited by Interel to help build the Interel Global Partnership in 2014. He holds a Master’s in History and Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin and from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in Washington, DC. He is a committed transatlanticist and an alumnus of several Young Leader programs, including those of Atlantik-Brücke and BMW Foundation, as well as the American Council on Germany’s multilateral Young Leaders Conference.
