The ACG will host a Breakfast Briefing with Dr. Johann Wadephul, Member of the German Bundestag (CDU).
Dr. Johann Wadephul has been a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) since 1982 and had a long career in state politics (in Schleswig‐Holstein) before being elected to the Bundestag in 2009. He is currently the Deputy Chairman of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group responsible for foreign affairs, defense, and the interparliamentary conference for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and the Common Security and Defense Policy (CSDP). He also serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Schleswig‐Holstein state branch of the Small and Medium Enterprises and Business Association (MIT), a member of the Federal Board of CDU Germany, and Chairman of the Rendsburg‐Eckernfoerde county branch of the CDU. He is a lawyer specializing in medical and social law in his own practice. He studied law at Kiel University (CAU) from 1986 to 1991.
