The American Council on Germany and Atlantik-Brücke’s annual German-American conference:
“Strengthening Transatlantic Resilience in Uncertain Times”
The conference will cover a variety of economic, strategic and security related topics relevant to the transatlantic partnership with the guiding theme of resilience. We will explore the durability of the transatlantic partnership and of democratic institutions and practices on both sides of the Atlantic. The conference will seek to answer the question: How can we strengthen resilience to deal with myriad disruptive domestic and international threats in today’s interconnected global environment?
Speakers include: Sigmar Gabriel, Member of the German Parliament (SPD) and former Federal Foreign Minister; Kate Kalutkiewicz, Senior Trade Representative to the European Union; Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, Chairwoman of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU); Dr. Charles A. Kupchan, Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and former Senior Director for European Affairs for the National Security Council; Commander Lieutenant General Ludwig Leinhos, First Inspector of Cyber and Information Space for the German Armed Forces; Dr. John Lipsky, Peter G.
