Kaffeepause: What’s Abuzz in Germany?

Dr. Esme Nicholson is a radio journalist and podcast host based in Berlin. She regularly reports on Germany for the U.S. broadcaster National Public Radio (NPR) and hosts a number of podcasts for the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung and for the Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP). She’s a published academic author on Michael Haneke and has a doctorate in Modern Languages. Dr. Nicholson’s book on Cold War radio history in Berlin is forthcoming.
