Stefan Müller is a member of the German Bundestag (CDU/CSU) where he has served since 2002. He has been in the position of CSU Whip since 2009, taking a four-year hiatus to serve as Parliamentary State Secretary for the Federal Ministry of Education and Research from 2013-2017. Mr. Müller is a member of several committees including the Council of Elders, Joint Committee, and Mediation Committees.
He has a professional background in banking, and also serves as an active member of the board of trustees of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and the current Chairman of the Erlangen-Höchstadt county branch of the Bavarian Red Cross.
