As part of the Road to the Election and Beyond Virtual Series, the ACG will host a webinar with Ambassador Dr. Emily Haber, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the United States; and Ambassador John B. Emerson, Vice Chairman at Capital Group International, Chairman of the American Council on Germany, and former Ambassador of the United States to the Federal Republic of Germany; and moderated by Dr. David Deißner, Executive Director of Atlantik-Brücke e.V.
The two Ambassadors, both renowned experts in the realms of foreign policy and transatlantic relations, will share with us their assessment of how Americans currently perceive their German partners across the Atlantic –and vice versa. What larger trends can we deduce from the current state of transatlantic relations? Are we, in fact, still “wunderbar together”? The moderated discussion will last about 35 minutes, followed by 25 minutes of Q&A.
