Charlotte: American Exceptionalism: A German Perspective on 35 Years as an Entrepreneur in the United States

The Charlotte Warburg Chapter will host a discussion and reception with Riprand Graf Arco, Founder and Chairman of American Asset Corporation. 

There will be a $30 charge for the first 50 registrations to attend. There will be a $40 charge beyond 50 registrations. RSVP here by March 22. Appetizers, beer, and wine will be served.

Riprand Graf Arco was born in 1955 in Munich.  He graduated with a master’s degree in Civil Engineering and Architecture (Dipl. Ing.) from the Technische Universität München. His wife, Maria Béatrice Gräfin Arco, was born in Paris and holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Leopold-Franzens-Universität Innsbruck, Austria. Their hobbies include hunting, fishing and skiing. In 1982, Riprand Graf Arco entered the family business, which includes farming, timber farming, breweries, venture capital, and commercial real estate.  In 1986, he founded American Asset Corporation, a full-service real estate investment, development and management firm, specializing in office parks, dominant retail centers, business parks and large planned unit developments in mid-size cities in the southeast United States.  The Company owns and manages a real estate portfolio exceeding 5.8 million square feet of property with planned development on land in inventory of over 7.2 million square feet, Riprand and Maria Béatrice spend their time traveling back and forth between Munich and New York.
